Jessica Critcher is a Marine brat and a Coast Guard wife. Lacking a hometown, she wanders from place to place, never staying in one city very long.
She earned a BA in English from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is currently working as a freelance writer in Boston. She loves to combine her passion for writing with her rage against patriarchy, so you might recognize her from her regular contributions to Gender Focus. You may also have seen her at a Socializing for Justice event, where she works as an assistant organizer.
In addition to being an ardent feminist, an unapologetic atheist and a halfway decent guitarist, Jessica is a notary public and a tattooed hooligan.
She is also working very hard on the third draft of a novel.
